Mustafa Jewellery in Singapore has awarded a S$1.35 million prize as part of its “Million Dollar Grand Draw.” The event, held on 24 November at the Civil Service Club @ Tessensohn, marked the conclusion of a 14-month campaign designed to reward its loyal customers.
Monthly and Annual Lucky Draws
Mustafa Jewellery has hosted monthly giveaways over the past 14 months, offering one winner US$5,000 (approximately S$6,734) each time. The campaign concluded with the “Million Dollar Grand Draw,” open to customers who spent at least S$250 during the promotional period.
A Project Engineer Claims the Grand Prize
Balasubramanian Chithambaram, a civil construction project engineer and Singapore resident for over 21 years, emerged as the grand prize winner. He secured his entry after purchasing gold chains worth S$6,000 three months ago.
Chithambaram expressed gratitude upon hearing the announcement, saying, “Thank God.” He noted that the win coincided with the fourth anniversary of his father’s passing.
Community-Focused Plans for the Prize Money
When asked about his plans for the S$1.35 million, Chithambaram stated he would first inform his mother of the life-changing win. He also expressed intentions to give back to the community as a gesture of appreciation for his time in Singapore.
